Who can apply?
The competition is open to all students of Aalto university. You are required to bring your student ID card to the event so that we can verify your identity. University email address must be provided when registering.
When are the participants selected?
Participants are chosen by first come, first served -principle. Organizers, however, reserve the right to make changes to this rule in order to ensure balanced representation from TKK, TaiK and HSE. Confirmation mails are sent out to everyone after the registration closes.

How big are the teams?
Every team will have 4 members.
Are there any requirements for the teams members?
Every team should include at least one person with enough programming skills to make a demo of your solution. It is also preferrable that there would be diversity in team so that you would also have someone with designer skills and someone with presentational skills etc.
So what does the winning team get?
Windows Phones and a chance to represent Finland in the upcoming Nordic competition in Stockholm in spring 2012. Travel expenses to the event will be covered by us and accommodation and food in Stockholm will be free of charge. The winners of the Nordic competition will represent the Nordic countries in the European competition and all their expenses will be covered. All these events are organized by BEST.
It's a long event, should I bring something to eat?
We will serve you a warm meal and snacks during the day and in the evening there will be some food available, but if you think this is not enough, you are free to bring as much of food you like to the event.
What should I bring to the event?
We will provide you with basics: pens, paper and such. We also have some computers available, but we encourage you to bring your own laptops with you and anything else that you think might help you to win the competition. Also, take a towel for the sauna.
Will there be free Wi-Fi?
Yes.

You can use your common sense on this one.
What if I can't come?
Please tell us as soon as you know that you can't come! For the competition to be successful it's essential that every team has four members.

Who are the organizers?
The event organizer is Helsinki Local Group of Board of European Students of Technology (BEST). The main organizer of the event is Joonas Parjanne.

My Finnish is not that good. Can I still participate?
Yes you can. Materials will be in English. Presentation language will also be English.
